About my absense

Simple American asked,

Did you go on vacation?
Did you have operation?
Did you have a baby?
Did you get kidnapped?

The answer is no to all of the above.

On contrary to question one, my parents were on vacation. Hence I had to care for the kids while they were away. So, I became a SAHM for 7 days.

Let me tell you how my typical SAHM-day goes.

Morning: Prepare breakfast for boy depending on what he wants. Nag him to brush his teeth then eat the breakfast because the first thing he does when he gets up is to switch on TV and got glued to it . Take my own breakfast. Makes milk for girl when she wakes up. Prepare lunch. Put laundry to wash. Bathe kids. Boy eats lunch at 11 o’clock; school bus fetches him at around 11:40am.

Afternoon: Hang washed laundry. Feed girl lunch after sending off boy to school. That’ll take half an hour to one hour depending. Take my own lunch thereafter. Lull her to nap. Then… TANG TANG TANG TANG TANG my free time!! And what did I do? Watch this K-drama

Princess Hours 宫

I caught the beginning few episodes on TV and thought some of the scenes hilariously comical. Thus I borrowed the series from a colleague as I was eager to watch the ending minus the advertisements. The whole afternoon is spent watching the series, until boy comes home.

Evening: By the time boy reaches home after school, it’s already 7pm. Bathe the kids then all of us will go out for dinner. After dinner, it’s homework time, then a little playtime, and finally bedtime.

There, the reason why I didn’t blog or blog-hop for the past 10 days or so . Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have a lot of catching up (blog-hopping) to do!
