Yesterday afternoon Bro treated the children to ice-cream at Baskin-Robbins. We had a three-scoop icre-cream sundae to share. Children enjoyed the ice-cream very much.
When we were leaving the ice-cream parlour, in the car my boy excitedly pointed to the Häagen-Dazs cafe opposite the road saying, “Ah Ku, Ah Ku, that shop also got ice-cream one eerh!!”
So Bro told him, “Yeah… next time we go to that shop okay?” “So, the ice-cream in which shop tastes better? This one (i.e. B-R) or that one (i.e. H-D)?”
Boy paused for awhile as if to think, then declare his verdict “Ermmh… that one!!” pointing in the H-D direction.
“Wahlau!!! Your kids so hi-kha* one ah!!” Bro sniggered.
I couldn’t help but LOL along. When it comes to food, trust my boy to tell you what’s good or better heh!
*hi-kha: local slang for high class
p/s: Expensive doesn’t always means good. I’m just amused that at such young age he clearly has preference for better-tasting food/cuisine.
LOL! so cute
Hmmm, how I wish Starbucks sold ice cream too……
Baskin also not cheap leh….
hi mom2ahsley,
hi L B, now that you have broadband still miss Starbucks so much? I thought the famed Italian ice-cream tastes better anytime, no?
hi shoppingmum, yeah… we don’t bring them to these places frequently. My boy still doesn’t quite understand the concept of expensive and cheap yet… taste is more important to him hahah!
I only buy BR ice-cream on 31st, got 31% discount. I love the world class choc.
Very interesting boy you got there. I like Basking Robbins too. Lucky I have one I can walk to from my house. Not good for my waist line.
hi michelle, the queue is normally very long on 31st…
hi simple american, heehee… my boy is quite hyper, however much he eats he still remains skinny… *sigh*
